At “Chikankaari” it’s our policy to see that our products are tested for quality before they leave our warehouse. We really hate to see an unsatisfied customer. In a rare scenario where you are not satisfied with your order you can cancel it and ask for a refund. Before you make up your mind to return our product, please give a thought to the following aspect of Chikankaari:

Chikankaari dresses and dress materials are handcrafted hence each and every product is unique in terms of design, color and size. Each product is made in a way that you will not find a similar item anywhere else. At times, you may not find the same size for a particular design too. Some of our dresses take months to get completed as the design is made by hand. This is what we call as true legendary masterpieces being created exclusively for the prospective buyer. A unique design ads to the charm and beauty associated with this ancient art called “Chikankaari”.

How Can I Cancel My Order?
If for some reasons you wish to cancel your order then please do so within 24 hours of your purchase. Now there are two repercussions to this.
Cancelling The Order Before Your Order Is Shipped
If you are cancelling your order before your order is dispatched for delivery, then we will refund you the entire amount. Yes, we are quite liberal in our process and we do understand you as a customer.
Cancelling The Order After Your Product Has Been Dispatched
If you have accepted the delivery of your product then we ONLY allow refunds if the product has a manufacturing defect. In the rare event of receiving a defective or damaged product you are requested to send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number within 24 hours of receiving your product or call us at +919935522919 to coordinate a return. In this aspect, we also need a favour from you. We send our products in a specially wrapped material; hence if you receive a product which has been tampered with or is open then DO NOT accept the delivery and return the product to the delivery boy. Also, inform us on the above mentioned number. Please make sure that the packaging is not opened.
Cancellations will only be entertained on unworn and unused merchandize.
Refund will be made in the same form in which we received your order payment within 10 days working days from the date of cancellation.
We DO NOT accept any returns due to sizing issues or any other reason except defective item. As already mentioned above, we do extreme quality checks before dispatching the order hence defective item being sent is ruled out. Moreover, we maintain exclusive stock in our inventory and due to the uniqueness of each item the final call will be taken by our Quality Assurance Team, whether to accept the return or not. If you have a sizing issue, then you can exchange the product for another one depending on the availability of the chosen item.
In cases related to genuine exchange issues, the customer is liable to pay all courier costs. Furthermore above mentioned terms and conditions, we will not entertain any refund requests if:
- Incorrect addresses.
- Package is refused at the customers delivery address.
- Product is returned after being used or if it is damaged.
- In case of any minor design and color variations. In case of handicraft products it is a common occurrence.
- Any product packaging which is tampered with. The sticker of address is scratched, the product code is unreadable or the packaging is damaged.
